History

Established in 1994.
We immigrated to the US from Iran in the late 80's. My father Faraj started a small butcher shop in Fairfax over 20 years ago before we moved to our current location at 8680 W. Pico blvd. Our specialty has been high quality marinated meat.
Over the years we were asked why we didn't cook it as well and that's how it started 15 years ago. We are a family business and take pride in the quality and service we provide. Some of our customers and employees have been with us for over 15 years.

Owner

My father Faraj always has focused on giving the best service and never compromising the quality. We work very hard as a family to providing the best authentic Persian Kosher food in town.....the name Faraj is a household name in the Persian Jewish community. Houman and Faraj Y.

  The waiting period is longer than expected. High ceilings, nest and tidy, staff very energetic and great. Food comes straight from the grill to the table. The chicken kebab was hit and miss when came to the flavour. The beef kebab was made to perfection. Open space and excellent views only negative side, the owner may have to consider another unisex restroom.

  Loved the beef kebab. Thought it was much better than the ground beef or chicken options which were good, but not as good as the beef.

  Excellent food, excellent service. I always thought this was a butcher shop until our friends asked us to come here for dinner. Best Persian food I have had in a long time. The service was top notch, and the food was excellent and the prices were great. Highly recommend this place.
